The Dryburgh Abbey Hotel is owned and managed by the Grose family, who
have had a hundred years experience of providing hospitality at their
other hotel, the Four Star Thurlestone in the South.
The ideal base from which to explore the stunning Borders Countryside,
as well as being able to arrange shooting for groups or individuals.
We're in an ideal location for salmon or trout fishing, and we offer a
free booking service through the local salmon fishing agent covering
14 beats. There are 14 choices of golf course also, mostly within a
short drive of the hotel. And if you should tire of outdoor pursuits
you can enjoy a relaxing dip in our luxurious indoor pool.
While the exterior is a delightful old house, the interior has been
designed with modem comforts in mind. Unwind in either of our two
relaxing lounges, one for non smokers, or take things easy in the
comfort of your bedroom. With elegant decor, all rooms are furnished
and equipped to the standards you'd expect from a leading hotel, and
to celebrate our location each is named after a Salmon Fly.
